Hello Everyone....we are getting close to our first ever Panther Chameleon eggs hatchlings!! We will be having some really great prices...Visit our website for updates!
What am I watching out for while these lil guys hatch? Any suggestions?
the best thing to do is try to leave them alone! people have a tendency to check on them every few minutes and the movement is bad for them. With panther eggs your waiting for them to shrink and split... they will go from looking like a little grape to a raisin and then split.. thats when you know they are coming!
Okay...so after they shrink and the first one splits...will they all start to split at the same time? And do I wait til the last one is split and out before I do anything with them?
My first ones are hatching as we speak. I have four that have already hatched and 19 more to go. They shrink then look like a raisan. Some come out really fast others take hours. Some will look dead for awhile while others will be active. I just made sure the temp in their room was at least to 75 degrees. Don't know if you know this but they survive off their little ambilical cord until it falls off. Then hunt a few days afterward. I was so worried about feeding them. Make sure to mist their leaves though. It is so exciting. Good luck.
