Chamelot the Jackson's!

Okay, so lights on for the chameleons is at 8:00am, and lights out is at 8:30pm. Chamelot seems to like being up really early, he is wide awake at 6:30-7:00am and seems to want to sleep really early at night.
He trys to fall asleep at around 6, 2 hours before his bedtime. During the day he is really active, seems to roam around his cage alot.
Is this normal?

I would adjust your lights accordingly. Put them on a timer from 6-7 in the morning to 6-7 at night. My Chams all wake up at first light and go to their sleeping spots a little before dusk.

Second that. They all (no matter what species) are awake from literally dusk til dawn. I would try to keep the lighting schedule accordingly.

Dusk here is around 7, but doesn't really go down till 8 40, should i still shut if off around 6 or 7?

If your chameleons want to go to sleep then yes. 7 to 7 is good IMO.
