It's been a while since I was active on Chameleon Forums because a lot has been happening over the past few months.
We received a grant from Petco Foundation and since then have been really busy getting a lab put together and preparing for the next steps in the program.
Anyone in the Los Angeles area who is interested in attending workshops should send me an email at [email protected]. I will notify you once I have a set schedule. Space is limited but we will do our best to accommodate as many attendees as possible.
Anyone who would like to be a guest speaker and who will be in the area is welcome to contact me with their program ideas.
Right now I am trying to secure three veterinary clinic dates. If possible, I will arrange for a vet to provide free exams for your chameleons during each workshop. A lot of this depends on whether or not ChamEO has to pay for the vet's time or if they donate their time.
I'm still seeking basic supplies such as disposable non-latex gloves, swabs, etc.
I need ideas and I need lots of help with this. Remember, it's for you guys and the chameleons in your care.
Zoo Med donated several items that we will be able to pass on to those who need them through our workshops.
Please contact me by email if you have questions or just want to offer some suggestions.
Thank you.
