Chammy climbing ceiling

Hello, my chammy is climbing on the top of his screened enclosure, under the basking light. See below. How should this be interpreted? Is he seeking out warm spots to bask under?

How far away is your basking area? Is your light sitting on top of the screen? If so, you’ll want to raise it to avoid burns. Can you post a pic of your entire enclosure?
Here’s the enclosure. And a pic of the terrarium from above with the basking and uvb bulbs. The basking bulb is set to low temp setting.

So you may want to put your basking light closer to your uvb so that it is more above the vine. You also need many more branches/vines for your cham to travel on. It’s going to take quite some time for that tree to grow large enough to fill out and provide more travel area. I know it’s tough to hang things in a Zen enclosure. Heavy duty suction cups may work, or the sticky hook things. You may also be able to hook something up with heavy duty magnets.

I interpret it as trying to get from point A to point B. My cham does it daily; the ceiling is his "chameleon superhighway"—it's the fastest way for him to get across the enclosure.
