chams and loud noises

So I like to take my chams out while I'm playing xbox and put them in a plant next to my chair while I play, to help them get used to being around me while still having some space. I was just wondering if loud noises from a game (gun shots for example) would scare or stress them out?
It's not like I blast the volume I keep it pretty quiet but there's times every so often where something happens and it gets unexpectedly loud for a second

Call of Duty I presume?

The rule is: they're "deaf", but can feel vibration and it freaks them out.

If you can feel the vibration in your feet, it's going to "hurt" them and they won't like it.

Just keep the volume pretty low and you'll be good. Or use headphones. (I have an Xbox as well)

I don't know for sure, but I would think that all the very fast movement and flickering might induce some stess as it may overstimulate the chameleon and trigger predator response type reactions. Just a hypothesis on my part, but if he seems to be thriving, it is probably OK.

Haha no not call of duty actually not my thing :p
Thought so about the vibrations since that is how most herps work.
There's no vibrations at all he just hangs out in the plant, very relaxed so I'd like to think it's a good way! Thanks for the links also

I was thinking about the flashing and the way I have the plant and the TV angled in a way he can't see the screen, just the side and the back

My enclosure is actually rather close to my television (and gaming consoles), so when I next use it, my Chameleon will be near. What kind of Chameleons do you have and how old are they? Mine is 3 months old, Jackson Chameleon. I just got him on Tuesday, so he isn't used to his surroundings or me quite yet, but as long as he's cool with it, I'd like to take him out while I play video games too...you know just to do it and get him used to me :p Did your chameleons want to come out, or eat out of your hands right away? How long did this take for you?

I have 2 young adult male panthers, one at just over a year and the other about a year and a half. The one will only eat free roaming insects and won't eat out my hand to this day (I got him to take a couple worms out of my open palm but never when I'm holding it) I also tried the cup method with him he doesn't seem to like it. My other one hated me at first but still ate out my hand, he kinda does anything for food. It took them both about a week of settling in to come out of the cage without getting stressed. Now they're both completely comfortable around me but there's still occasional times when they just do not want to come out and will puff up when I put my hand in, when that happens I just leave them be and come back later when they're in a better mood. My one likes to just chill in his umbrella plant while I play games and relax, the other only seems to want to explore and never stays in one spot so I have to keep an eye on him. But usually they won't be comfortable with you right away, I had to work hard with just holding food in front of them until they started to associate me with a treat, did this every day for the first week
