Change of color

It’s crazy how much he has changed since November. He lost his oranges and reds. I really hope he gets it back after winter. Now he just looks green with blue bars.

My panther guy went thru the same thing last year. It took a few months, but his colors came back. He hasn’t lost his colors this year, although I am staying alert for it. So when there 1 yr old do they reach there permanent colors ?

That I really have no experience with. I got my guy when he was already about 1-1 1/2 years old. I would think by a year old they should have reached their full color spectrum.

My panther chameleon is about the same age and is currently in the same situation. Waiting patiently for the warm weather so I can get him outside and hope that the sun will bring his colors back!

I just (within the last 15 min.) read in the archives that they can still develop colors until 18 months.
