character ideas? be creative! help me!

for my studio arts class, i have to 3d animate a character. but first i need to draw it. i have no idea what to do it has to be humanlike, but i cant draw humans!! no matter how hard i try, cant do it. horses and chameleons on the other hand, i excel at. so any ideas or reference pics on a character? i could do "chameleon man" or something..but i cant get it down in my head

good one! i was trying to think of just a plain example of a cham standing on two legs...but i could deff incorporate the jackson's into the human, hopefully ill work on it..maybe i can do a few different designs if people come up with more ideas and see which ones work best..

You can reference character rango from the Movie seemed pretty human like and turn him into a Jackson's or any other species.

rango is cool and everything, but he seems a bit skimpy no offense to rango lovers...i like characters that are strong and sturdy, i usually do 4 legged ones..but it has to be humanlike says my studio arts teacher -.-

I'm imagining something like Avatar, but with a stretched-out reptilian face. It would be cool with eyes that looked in different directions like a chameleon.....OK wait, I have ADHD.... now I am imagining something like a Slee-Stack from Land of the Lost......

thought about dragons i actually started sketching an anthro horse, which is a horse that has a human torso and arms, and walks on two legs, ill have to upload it..but as i said, ill sketch a few and see what i like best, a dragon would be my next choice
