anyone know where to get them? cheap crickets including shipping...so far i keep pricing every site at about $30 for 500 crix and shipping...i just ordered 1k off ebay for $25 shipped, but the idiot didnt insulate the box or anything and about 900 were dead on arrival, and he wont replace. theres no use paying $15 for 500 crix, then another $15 for shipping...not worth it.

cheap crickets on Facebook. I heard quite a bit of good things about them. I quoted a price for 1000 crickets and he came back to me at $22 for 1000 with free shipping.

12 something for 1000, any size, plus a few bucks in shipping.

and they are the best crickets ive ever had.

just a warningk, they can jump high. i think they are the banded crickets.

I am always on the look for cheap deals on crickets. So far I have picked up local banded crickets for $7 for 100. I also bought 1000 small banded crickets from Mulberry Farms. Today I picked up 500 medium from Rainbow Farms (local) and paid only $10.50 for them. I just created another post with some pictures in order to make sure they are really the advertised Acheta domestica and not those dreaded black crickets. They sure are not the banded ones!

I am going to attend the next local chameleon meet in hopes of picking up some friendly banded crickets for cheap. You might also want to find out if there is a group in your area as well.

Hey camimom, I forgot to mention that I checked out ReptileFood excited about the prices you mentioned, but they wanted to charge me 18 bucks for overnight shipping. I guess you live much closer to them than I do! That would put them at nearly 30 bucks for 500 crickets.

Well I buy in more bulk, so the shipping doesnt hurt me as much.

ive got 4 adult or sub adult chams to feed. :)

I buy 2000 crickets, and various other bugs at all once, so the 23 bucks in shipping for 2nd day air, makes it easier for me.
