nice

Yes! That is what I need to do that is soo much better then what I have, with that I wouldnt have to worry soo much about water getting everywhere. Then I can really give his cage a nice spray down I am going to home depot thanks man!

Edit: I am actually leaving right now hah, looks like that set up should be pretty easy so the piping is pretty secure?

ya i was planning on buying glue and primer and doing the piping up to city code haha but then i dry fit it all and it was a pain to pull apart so i figure that i didnt need glue and as far as securing the tub to the pipes i just put a drywall screw threw the tub into the pipe then drilled some holes in the middle of the tub for draining and it was finished

good luck trying to find all the stupid fittings took me forever to find them all nothing is in the right spot at home depot i swear

o and i havent fixed my leak yet i just set the bucket on top of an old 20 gallon tank i had and put a tub inside the tank so now i have a drainage system for that leak lol

Ya im having some troubles, the home depot I went to didnt have the 3 pronged fittings only 2. Also I was just going to use some strong pvc pipe cement and I am waiting for it to dry right now but not too sure hot its going to work out. You say you used drywall screws? Hmm maybe I will try that.

hm weird ya i had no problem finding the corner pieces just the 2 of the 3 ends on the corner piece were same size and 3rd was smaller with a thread in it so it just needed an adapter to be same size then they all dry fit together very well and when i used the drywall screws i pre drilled the holes and went very slowly as to not crack the plastic hope this helps

Hi!, i just have the same cage as yours, and i really need a drainage system for it, as i just clean it up everyday and it is really inneficient and stressfull for my cham, i wanted to ask if you drilled a hole on your plastic bottom of the cage or what did you do to let the water pass(did you make a big hole, or drilled little ones??) thank you!

Looks pretty cool, I've used those concrete mixing tubs in the past to build laying cages for gravid females as well as them being waterproof. You could probably leave out the bucket and put an icemaker valve on the bottom of the tub and control when you drain it. Plus the sound of water dripping into a bucket can be quite annoying.
