Where is the cheapest place I can purchase crickets? I've been using LLL Reptile but they have really been disappointing me lately, and I do not care to use them any more. I'm really tight on $$$ right now and need somewhere I can purchase them until my roach colony is established.

Thanks!

I personally use Premiumcrickets for my supply...ive tried them all and it seems they too me are right up there #1. I use coastalsilkworms for my silworms.

LLL is on the other side of the nation from you
it's better to get someone that is based closer.
if you google around I'm sure you can locate someone.

I am a new cham owner, I placed an order at LLL last monday, and still havent gotten my crix, they were guarnteed by friday or saturday. . .it's monday. I already speant $10 on crix at petsmart, I am VERY dissapointed in their service.

Have you contacted them about this?

I spent $14.00 for a box of 1,000 large crickets. I go to a local pet store and the guy who owns the store is a good friend of mine. I also get 100 large mealworms for $4.00 He hooks me up.

I ordered a lot from LLL and never had issues. Might want to check with them

Also, reptilefood.com is quite cheap as far as crickets go. But you can get good deals if you look at the usual spots. Mulberry farms and http://www.wormman.com/ you can try also.

you might also want to check on witch shiping option you picked. i order from them a lot and have never had any probs.best thing to do is order a 1000 and put somthing for them to lay eggs in leave it in there for a week take the tub with the eggs out put it in a rubber made tub and wait befor you know it you will have 1000's of baby crix repeat till you have a colony going and you should not have to buy crix ever again.

I live in Maryland and get mine overnighted from Flukers. It's the shipping that's expensive but the crickets are ALWAYS here the next day, and always ALL alive.

ebugco.com

I order from ebugco.com, 1000 crix costs me $16 shipped next day. Never have had a problem with their crix and have always arrived on time. If it's your first time ordereing, tell them that and they'll give you 1000 crickets for free ontop of what you order.

I buy from Reptilefood.com and they are 1000 any size for 10.00. Also they are the best prices for next day or 2nd day shipping. My last order, the fedex guy left them on the porch (not the food guy's fault ) butwhen i emailed them and told them what happened, they immediatedly replaced the entire shipment that day, no questions asked. i think that was pretty good.
