Check this out guys! My 10 month old Ambanja Panther is turning into a lady. She is a blue bar as well and has always been her nice light tan with nile blue specs throughout her.

Well 2 days ago I noticed a slight color change to her, she was getting quite peachy, but yesterday and today WOW. I tried to get a pic yesterday but she saw the camera coming and got mad at me. Today though, I snagged a few (last 3). Here you are guys, what you think of my little baby (not for long) blue?

Ohh yeah her laying bin is all ready to rock. It explains so much as these past few weeks shes been hanging around lower in the cage and chillin.

As far as coloration for receptive/gravid girls goes. What one shows itself first? I saw new peculiar colors a couple weeks back and thought to myself one or the other may be happening, but not sure which one goes 1st.

I was going to breed her, I had a male lined up from The Blue Barons last clutch from Chameleons Northwest but from what I heard that clutch had problems surviving, so she is still loverless. I would like to find her a mate in the future, but this is her and my first time with this situation so I'm going one step at a time.

Kyle, she looks very beautiful! I was wondering how your other cham was doing with the RI? Is he getting better?

She's looking real good mate, it's all over now baby blue ;)

Thanks guys, even though Samson was my 1st cham and I love all of him, Cleo is my favorite, she is so fiesty and hates my guts but she owns my heart!

I been trying to tame her for months now and its so hard! So far my progress is that I can feed her a superworm from my hand but only if the worm is resting on a branch, never straight from my hand. That is the next step.

So being as she is receptive. How much of a timeline can I expect until she has created and laid her 1st clutch?

I am bumping this thread because I am a little concerned. I posted this on day 1 of the gravid coloration. As of today she still hasn't laid or even showed interest in doing so. I'm not sure what it could be but I am growing more concerned, I would hate to have anything happen with her. I am at work right now but tomorrow I will take a pic tomorrow to post. I can tell she has eggs but isn't overly large, kinda looking like shes constipated (but she isn't she poos fine) She still shows off her gravid coloration, will that continue until she lays the eggs or could it fade out with eggs in her?

She walks around fine still but isn't showing much interest in food aside from a few worms I have left. I am thinking maybe I should confine her to a trash can laying bin I have read about in the past but I would hate to keep her in there if she's not ready to lay. This is just such an unknown for me and that bothers me haha I hate not knowing.
