Closed his tail in the door!!

I had my window open, as well as my little guys cage door and he had his tail wrapped around where the hinges of the door is and a gust of wind came thru and closed the door on his tail!!! He started to flip out and when I opened the door back up he curled his tail real right and I felt SOO bad He has a little bit of a black mark but no bumps, and he is still using it, do u think he will be ok? It's at the end of his tail. Also he is shedding so do u think it will go away after he finishes his tail?

It looks like it is bruised. How hard did the door slam? Did it gently close or did it make a big slap sound when it closed?

It gently shut, it didn't shut all the way thankfully, maybe a little less than half way. Will he be ok?

It does not look broken from the picture, and it looks like he is still using it to grab stuff. I would say it will be okay. Stuff happens. I would make something that locks the door in place if you are going to have it open to prevent this from happening again. Live and learn.

yea i came home within like 3 hours and his tail didn't even have the bruise!! he didn't have it today either, i think hes good lol
