Closes eyes and hides in corner

As far as your enclosure, you really need to run some vines and branches horizontally. You should have at least one sturdy branch placed under the basking light about 7 or 8 inches down. He does not look like he has many places for walkways. He looks uncomfortable clinging to that branch horizontally in the corner. More foliage also in the middle of the cage where you will run the branches and vines through.

This is my set up for my vailed you can reference if you want you want to have a lot of coverage around the top this will give your chameleon a sense of security. You want to think of the branches as roadways you want him to have as many pathes to take as possible. Zip ties work well or small wire to hang from the sides I also have 6 live plants in there along with fake ones I have an Ivy hanging in the back left top corner and two pothos hanging on in the back right corner at the top and one near the front right in the middle all the rest of my plants are at the bottom dracena, split leaf plant, and a shefflara. I hope this can help you

Definitely!! Honestly, why not both? The more the merrier, for the most part. I have 2 ficuses, 4 bromeliads, a schefflera, orchid, pothos, dracaena, and croton all in mine. It looks great, helps keep humidity up, and provides a bunch of places for my cham to perch, walk, and hide
