Closet cage 1.0

Lol and I STILL need one more!!! oh the cost of having different chams with different needs. I would much rather hand mist everyone but work does not always allow me to do so.
Some needs to invent a timed valve that allows different lines to mist at different times!

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats EXACTLY what I have been wishing I had!!! :p

I am putting a MK outside, and wish I could have the one system do the montanes, and the lowlanders, at different times. ;/

:eek:Well dayumm bob the builder, ataraxia wants some!

Cage looks awesome. :) Just looking at harley in the pics made me smile..Gotta keep us updated. Hows harley adjusting to the new cage, BOB?

Snizzy: look into micro irrigation. Cheaper nozzles. Never have to refill the bucket. Half the cost

Lmao. Thanks man! Harley seems to like it so far, he stays in it at least:rolleyes: But he is eating and drinking well. I have not gave him my official welcome offering of a mantis yet, I just cant get them big enough to have any substance :p
That cage is sick !!!! Very nice
Thanks! :)

Nice man ... we need more pics of that big boy:)

Here here...
Its nice out today and I will be home from work at a decent time so EXPECT pics!:p
I like the paint job done before everything

Thanks. After having it all painted I realized I didnt really care for it too much but its growing on me haha. The closet has 3 coats of DryLok and 5 of latex paint so i should NEVER have any water issues:p
The wood framing for the vents and planter was not stained only poly'd, i really like the natural oak look.

Dude that's the bizness right there!!! This summer I think I'm going to reconfigure my whole cham room with homemade cage systems. I may have to steal some of your ideas! :D

Lol thanks Thom! Go ahead and use any of them. The drain table was not my idea though, i got it from another member(cannot remember who though:p) just tweaked it a bit.

I decided to go ahead and plant it. I have other enclosures im working on that NEED to be done soon. But I will still be wiring in a outlet up above after I get done with the other stuff. I had more plants I wanted to add, but when i bought them all i thought i had a bit more room:p Once everything grows in im going to have some serious trimming to do. Theres two hibiscus trees, hibiscus thats a bit more bushy, a dracaena, three small scheffleras, two hanging pothos, and some moss that came in the bag of organic soil:p I figured if it grows in its a freebie! The planting is really nothing spectacular, but I think Harley will enjoy it

It looks great bro! :D

Excellent job.

I really like it, especially that it is closed off on the bottom. It just looks cool, having a chameleon in the wall! I imagine its even cooler in person, and makes for a neat room.

This project is about 75% done, still need to install sliding acrylic doors, place heat lamps above, add a few more misting nozzles, and it will be FULLY planted. Considering some LED grow lights since there is two large Hibiscus but I know nothing about them atm so thats on hold. Also a couple pics of its new habitant :D

In what part of your house you have this cage?
