Is anyone going to the CO reptile show May 10? Do you know what time it runs from and where it is? I would really like to go and maybe see some of you there!?

More specifically, the Mart is at 58th off I25.
Exit onto 58th avenue (a few miles North of I70) It is East of I25 on the North side.
You can't miss it.
Signs in the parking lot will direct you further.

Gads I just checked out the vendors ... it looks pretty light for this show.
Two reasons to go .... Joe's Panthers and Judy Streeters Quads and Sailfins.

I was just looking at the vendor list and it's really weak this time. Often they sell out every vendor table, but I guess a lot of people must be sitting on eggs and don't have babies to sell yet...?

Oh well, less competition for me :p

Most people are just selling the same stuff anyways: cornsnakes, crested geckos, ball pythons, redtail boas, bearded dragons, ect...

I loved the Streeter's walk-through display last time though!

I will be there, but im LEAVING MY MONEY AT HOME!!! Too tempting!

Aw come on, Trevor.... spontaneous reptile purchases are the best! lol :D

My goal is to take home any money I make at the show and not spend it on snakes there....

I usually try to leave each Reptile Show with a really good reptile book to add to my little library.

Come by and say hi :)

Not to many shows come thru the rocky mountain region. But to go and not spend any money takes alot of skill. Snakes are pretty easy to come by down here in so.colorado but chams are a different story. Unless I want a veiled...I have to either order out of state...or drive to a show. But joe's chams have got me ready to roll up there and stimulate the economy. lol sort of!

I just went back and checked the vendor list and they've almost doubled the number of vendors since this thread was started. Not necessarily anything i'm interested in, but the more the better...

I'm seriously considering taking home a ball python morph - or two

I'll probably have to sleep on the couch for a few weeks if i do, but hey "you only live once" :)

Luckily im terrified of snakes, so it wont be an issue for me :)

I'm just the guy to fix that issue :D I'll be headed out to look for rattlesnakes this weekend if you want to go...

Seriously though, I'll bring one of my little woma pythons to the show and make you hold it... oh wait, you're bigger than me  I mean, I'll try to pursuade you to hold it :)

Actually it has been a life goal to overcome this fear, so I am totally open to that.

When you going out this weekend? Would be cool to hang out and learn some more stuff from ya. I dunno about chasing any rattelers down, but ill hold the camera for ya if you want heh

HAHA!
Im pretty sure you cant do this in Colorado.

Mmmmm surf rods...

I'll be on the outter banks of NC in a couple of months doing just that. Snapper, striped bass, drum, flounder, ect..

What were you guys after that day the pic was taken? Have any luck?

I only caught one Whiting....
The sargasm was horrible!
Every five minutes you line was covered, so you had to reel in and cast again.
You had to wear shoes ontop of that, because the man-o-war were everywhere.

Sorry!

I just moved back from HI to Denver - when I was there, two of my favorite surf spots were notorious for man of wars. One afternoon was body surfing the shorebreak and as the wave crashed on me, I was compleatly wrapped up in a monster - 3 ft tentacles at least. As i was pulling all the tentacles off my body, the wind was wipping em around right back onto me.

Every body part... and i mean EVERY fellas... was stung, quite possibly the most pain i have ever been in, it felt like i was getting beat with hundreds of hammers over and over for about 2 days.

Thanks for the pics, looks nice!
