It actually was warm here in Colorado today, which makes me excited that spring is on the way! Not only will the reptiles be excited to get outdoor time again, but I'm getting pumped for hiking season! Don't get me wrong, skiing is awesome! But the hiking around here is phenomenal. Thought I'd post some pics from hiking last summer to share the joy and show you why I moved.
From the top of Mt Bierstadt (14,264') - one of my favorite hikes so far because the valley is so picturesque:
This is Blue Lake, a big gorgeous glacial lake near the top of the mountain (my other favorite hike):
