My 6-month-old veiled got scared of a stick I was holding and showed these amazing colours. Poor baby, but what a sight! I just had to take a quick pic before rescuing him to his enclosure. I luckily havent seen him this scared for ages so these colours were a surprise to me too.

Nowadays he is usually like this:

He's crawling and climbing everywhere, being amazingly friendly, showing new orange shades, craving to spend time outside his enclosure many times a day and being a sweetheart altogether.

Thanks guys:)

I happened to notice just now that I was browsing Chameleon Forums in the first picture. Addict! :D

Bit random but just noticed where your from.. Finnish rock music is awesome, 3 of my fave bands are from there. The rasmus, H.I.M and nightwish. Sorry for being random. :p

Haha, well I actually live and breathe music, so that is far from random in my case. But although I happen to like the metal genre too my faves are more or less more ug.

He is beautiful and it is a big plus when they are friendly on top of it! I can reach in my chams cage and rub him under his chin and it doesnt even bother him!

So true! I didn't expect him to be friendly at all, but he seemed to get used to us in a week and after that he has f.ex. eagerly come to climb on us whenever we allow him to. He too lets me touch him, take a piece of leaf of his skin, he eats from my hand...

We have decided never to take him of the enclosure if he doesnt come freewillingly. But if he sees us and runs to a hand, it must mean he wants to come, so it's hardly too stressing to allow him to do that.
