Congratulations to ferretinmyshoes

Congratulations!!!!!!

We are all so proud of you!!!

I know it must have been hard, but in the end, You know it was worth it!!!!!!

Good morning Dayna, I know this has been said alot....
But what an accomplishment, you should be so proud of yourself as we and your family and friends are.
I personally have come to you for help and you were right there willing to help.
pet owners will be lucky to have you as their Vet.
Way to go Doc!!
Anne

Aww, thanks Jann and everyone else for all your kind words!! It was a wonderful day to graduate after 4 years of rigorous undergrad and then 4 years of vet school. A life-long dream finally realized! I've known I wanted to be a vet for as long as I can remember. It's still surreal to me that it's over. Starting in mid June I will be an emergency vet in Denver, Colorado. I'll be working mostly with dogs and cats but they are interested in expanding their experience with exotics, and thus their interest in me! And then a few years down the line I plan on working more exclusively with exotic pets. Fun things ahead now that I'm a doctor! Thanks to everyone for the congrats and well wishes!! I'll still definitely be active on the forums. :)

Congrats on finishing law school! That's a great accomplishment too!

Yes we do take boards. We take national boards which covers medicine for all animal species, and state boards which cover more regulatory issues specific to that state.

Congrats Ferret! Hope we don't loose you now that you'll probably be saving dogs and cats lives all the time! If we do, we understand you'll have far bigger fish to fry.

Again, congratulations!
