Contest Theme Suggestions

How about posing chams on tiny furniture, (Brings a whole new meaning to "lounge lizard!") Or in a tiny car like it's driving, or something silly like that?

It would be a pretty narrow group, probably just breeders, but it could be a great contest.

I have veileds and mine isn't very impressive fired up. I always feel at a disadvantage when I see all those brightly colored faces.

I have panthers and no veilds, i feel jealous hearing about how much heartier and stronger veilds are. Go figure

I say we steal Kristina's idea with the "LOL Chams"... Where we use unaltered pics of a Cham, and add somekind of comical text that fits the pic. I think this would be a fun change to do 1 month. They could be judged not only on the pic, but cleverness, originality, and humor. It would be fun to see some of the stuff the forum members could come up with... Bound to be tons of laughs.

I'm not against the lolcham idea, but it is very subjective. I prefer to filter entries and just ask members to pick their favorite instead of telling members how they should vote. Deciding which photos are amusing and which are not sounds difficult.

Hey Brad... What if you just use the normal criteria as far as the photo goes for filtering finalists, with the only exception being that there would have to be text included(appropriate text). Leave the laugh factor of the Caption up to the voters at that stage... And this way we are sure to get quality shots as well as a good laugh. The voters should not be told to focus on one element or the other, Leave it up to them if their vote is based on the Shot or the caption or both, just vote on the which final product is their Fav. Just my thoughts.
