Hello, I’m new here! First of all, thanks for all the information on here, it was super helpful in getting an appropriate enclosure set up. Just got a female veiled chameleon two days ago. I’m guessing she’s 4-5 months old based on size but someone please correct me if I’m wrong! She’s not my first reptile but she is my first chameleon so I just want to make sure she’s settling in okay. She’s got a great appetite and I’ve seen her drinking already. I’ve also seen two poops. All good signs I think? Anyway hello everyone this is Copley, please share your thoughts

Got her more branches and I’ve now seen her eat her collard greens! She doesn’t really like when I mist her home but other than that she seems pretty content! Giving her a mix of crickets and mealworms plus collard greens, carrots, etc. The plants I have for her (pothos and schefflera) are growing well too!

Stay away from mealworms. No benefits from them and may cause impaction.

Hello! Copley update! She looooves collard greens, strawberries, and raspberries. Now she even seems to like hanging out with me! The pet store guy told me to never expect her to like being handled but when I open her enclosure she climbs right over to me and onto me if I stretch out my hand! Thank you all for your wonderful chameleon care tips, check out the photos of how my girl has grown up! She’s probably about 7/8 months old now.
