So my veiled female chameleon is about 1 year old.I take her out 2-1 times every week but it's not really working she is still kinda grumpy but only a little bit better.
In her cage when I try to take her out it doesn't really work she just puffs up but no biting.I usually lure her out with some cricket's (She is handfed) and when outside she puffs up every time when in front of her cage.
Any tips how to get her "attached" to me or ideas why she puffs up when at her cage?Would love to see some of your guys recommendations!
Thanks!

Open the cage door, let her get use to coming out to hang out on top of door. From there just put ur hand in front of her and evetentually she should want to go on ur hand and come out every time the door is open.

The cage is her "room". No hands go into the room unless absolutely necessary, even for tame ones. Then as panthro say, lure her out of the room and her attitude will completely change. I usually have treats that they only get with the hand. If they want the treat, they have a brave the hand.
