Coulnt find the answers i was looking for

Im pretty sure i already know this,but just to make sure, do chameleons not eat much while shedding? I plopped some crickets in his cage because he hasn't eaten very much since his new cage and his shedding, he ate three then stopped. I was just wondering if this is normal? I tried looking for answers but couldnt find exactly what i was looking for.

They can have less of an appetite while shedding. How old is the chameleon?

I would remove any left over feeders before lights out. Crickets will chew on a sleeping chameleon if they are given the chance.

Most of the common feeder crickets don't generally pose any threat of biting, but I still like to remove excess feeders (especially the noisy ones ).

...and yes, it is common for them to have less appetite, but not always.

Could be getting used to his new cage also. Any little change can affect their appetite.
