Well he doesn't like to be sprayed AT ALL. I mean he freaks out and runs away,, I'm even talking being indirectly sprayed it it just a huge no no for him. Any suggestions of what I should do?

I waned to he a mist king or something but now I'm having second thoughts...

Also he really doesn't care for worms that much.. butter or meal. Crickets are like crack to him though, I'm just worried about him not getting variety. I have a suspended worm cup for him with both types of worms in but he wont eat unless I don't give crickets for a day or so Its his last resort...

And WHY CANT I respond to anything in the classifieds!? I want to get him roaches. Do roaches stay in the cricket bottles and are not able to jump/crawl out like crickets. (Plastic containers with mesh screen)

sorry to ask so many questions in one sitting but I find it better then to crowd the forums everywhere in each topic.

Just keep misting, he will get over it. they all do.

Just get the mistking. He will eventually get over it, and he may be freaking out because you are the one msting him.

try hornworms and silkworms. its ok if they dont love mealies and supers or butters. some chams just dont like certain bugs.

answers in red. ;)

thank you for your responses I shall follow all opinions..

And I think its kinda ridiculous to limit people on certain topics because of their level status, just to make others feel special. All it does is hinder the ability of trade and sales to people who could really use them... that's why the numbers are so low, if it were open more to people there could so many resources available. But I understand there are more reasons why.. especially with all the "not so smart/trolls/just plain dumb" people online and keeping respectable people and weeding out the others . I don't know what it takes to become special on forums but hopefully one day can I can be as well.

ohh ok makes more sense... that's good I have already have the cup suspended for him then. I just gotta do some research on how to care/keep alive and find someone selling and shipping. thanks

My veiled hates it when I mist him with cold water. So warm water is more acceptable for him. Sometimes he doesn't like warm water either...you still have to mist him. My vet reminded me that in the wild..they get RAINED on. The rain does not stop because they don't like it. But if they move out of the way I don't follow them with the mister. It does help clean out their eyes when they get showers. I have the mistking, a dripper and I hand mist them. It's better than having a dehydrated cham.

I handfeed dubias and put them in a cup.

very true... I take mine in the shower everyday where he gets a nice warm monsoon if I shower he does. I want a mist king but im free ranging so Im not quite sure how thoes two go together. Ill start a new thread.. but ill check first because im SURE its been asked before.
