i mess up detail SOOOOOO bad, but im not bad. focus more on making it cartoony or stylized. thicken up the borders and give it more definition. it dosnt need to look real as long as it looks good XD

i did that in 2 min with MS paint. not that thats what you want to do but i think definition would help

Okay I get what your saying. By boyfriend was saying the same thing but I didn't want to just put a black outline on it because I was trying to go for more realistic detail so I added some purple along the edges.

I Think is looks great. The only thing is missing is a background the white just takes too much away from the cham.

thats just my opinion. i like highly stylized stuff with a lot of distinction. if you like it better the way you drew it thats ALLL yours. im sure many have the same perspective.

thats what i love about art it can be construed so many different ways depending on an individuals perspective. and there is never one "right way" its just up to the artist.

so yeah thats jmo. if you wanted to portray stronger hues around the border tho i would think exaggeration of color and definition with thick lines would make it POP.

good stuff either way

I do both very detailed and cartoon like :) I prefer pen and ink stippled and pencil but i ran out of microns and didn't want to get so dirty with pencils :p see: https://www.chameleonforums.com/critique-80566/
