Crest

Just wanted to ask a fairly quick question. I have a male veiled that was rescued by Chamlisa, long story short he has been great eating, drinking, pooping, bobbing at me, with a good grip and no problems.

His casque has been bent since the day he came home. I noticed his crest right behind his casque is starting to bend a little, like a wave. Could his crest bending be from old age?

The photos are from today, one was this afternoon basking and the other was from a little while ago while he was sleeping-had a good chance to get right behind him without him moving, so to speak.

You have a beyootiful Veiled, such fantastic coloration and he looks great, my veiled has a bang in the casque too, someone else in the forums just recently made a comment about it being something that happens, and it's purely cosmetic. It's got some character actually like a cham Clint Eastwood!

I believe is just a thing that happens. You know? As a species evolves nature likes to play games to see what fits best. And each individual develops a physical character. Just like in humans some have big, small nose or ears.
