Crested gecko

I have a 2year old male crested gecko called Leo, he's a lovely little guy. I'm thinking of getting a couple of little buddies for him. I know i can't put another male with him so they would have to be female. I got him from a pet shop after my friend who owns the shop took him in because his other owner was scared of him, i still can't keep a straight face when i say that seeing as his old owner is a body builder. LOL but anyway he was the only gecko in the shop, does any1 no a site or breeder in the U.K where i could get some females from?

Theres alot of good info and reputable breeders on there not sure how you can be scared of a little crested haha

females at the moment are still like gold dust, they are being used for breeding at the minute, so you've started looking at the wrong time, also they cant live together all year round if you do find females now, they will either be too old to breed which means cant go in with the male or they'll come with a hefty price, id wait till later in the year maybe november time when breeding usually stops and you'll find females then at abit cheaper prices too

Thanks will have a look, scared of a crestie gecko makes me laugh every time i think about it. I've had Leo 3 or 4 months now and he's never bit. He's so friendly, the most he'll do is lick your hand which is just so sweet. Bless him.

Hmmm i was told they could live together, gonna have to get some more info on that one. Thanks for letting me know, i will be waiting until i move before i get them cause i have far to many animals to move now which im not looking forward to. Plus i promised my mum no more pets until i move out. I said that before i got the gecko and a hamster but never mind. Haha, so wont be getting any females foR a couple of months any way.

yeah cos the male will just want to breed and will stress the females out with over breeding which will lead to the females dieing

Yeah thats a good point, i wanted him to have some crestie company but maybe thats not a good idea now.
