Chameleon crazy

I've heard three, but I'm not sure....

1. Feed your cham. as much as she can eat twice per day.

2. Feed your cham. as much as she can eat once per day.

3. Feed your cham. 4-5 crickets twice per day, with 2-3 mealworms everyother day.

(also, offer fruit and vegetables once per week and dust food with vitamins twice per week.)

Thank you!:)

well how old is your chameleon. if its a baby, i would let it eat 20 or so, mine is around 4 months now, and he eats 15 to 20 a day.

id go with 10 in the morning and 10 in the afternoon. what i do is put 5 in a cup to make sure that he eats at least 5, and let the other 5 free roam and let him hunt them down. i do the same thing in the afternoon early evening. good luck

You dont have to offer fruits and vegeables. From what I heard they often start to chew on leaves etc. when they are nearly adult.

But you just mentioned vitaminsupplement. Dont forget to give calcium as well.

I give her ReptoCal vitamins. It contains calcium and vitamin D3.

Thats good about the calcium.

At this point I dont have any ideas. Go for the tip you got from John. Since you have a female its important that you dont overfeed her. If you do she can start develop infertile eggs at a very early age and those clutches can be big. And this is not healthy for her. So when she is a little bit older like 5-6 month you can give her a little less food.

I give my female, which is nearly 2 years, 3 crickets/roaches every other day in general. I think she is about to lay her first infertile clutch soon. But Kinyonga here at the forum have females which are older than that and hasnt developed any infertile eggs yet.
