Yes, both of them do. Who knows? Going to vet Friday regardless. So for the first time, after posting this, I walk in there and he had fallen. He seems fine and put him back up on a vine. There are lots of loose saggy leave and branches mixed with much sturdier vines. Is it normal for them to occasionally grab something that simply won't hold em android they fall? First time this has happened. He's been much more active last cpl days hunting and eating.

So yes it can happen but honestly not often. unless a leaf gives away that they are hooked to. They are built for the trees and are very capable

So I heard back from a few people I reached out to about the eye issues. They are all saying it is Vet time. But to make sure it is a real reptile vet with Chameleon experience. Any other will have issues diagnosing.

Just for follow up. A few days ago both of his eyes cleared up and he looked great and was hunting and eating just fine. I kept the appt with the specialist who only visits that office once a month to look at him any. She felt his eyes were fine and only thing she did mention is that he has some inj at tip of tail I need to watch. Thanks for all the replies here folks. This place is such an awesome resource.

I was able to get some close ups of his tail here. Any thoughts from you folks?

Is it developing a cuff? Like squeezing in... If so you will need to intercede and help gently get it off. Otherwise it will restrict blood flow to the tip and cause it to die off... @JacksJill Is it mineral oil that will help loosen a cuff to get it off the tail? Maybe it wasnt you that posted it. What would you advise?

Vet felt like it looked more like an injury but could potentially be infection.. Wanted me to keep eye on it. My eyes suck so it's hard for me to see as well. It's def a bit darker but does not appear necrotic

I don't see anything that I would describe as cuffing. Vet described like a lil split from injuring.. I guess I'll have to watch for a few days

Looks like that isn't the problem but I just use a damp qtip to tease off any stuck shed that may be causing strangulation.

Whatever was going with his eyes sure seems to have cleared itself up. He's eating well and seems to be doing fantastic
