does anybody know of a way to lure and trap crickets ?, as i now have several adults loose in my apt and i would like to get rid of them . aside from driving me nuts, i am worried there is a small chance they might breed. the only thing i can come up with is putting some flukers oc in the middle of a sheet of fly paper , although i have my doubts that it will work / edit i guess i have just answered my own question http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RnEGFWwg9-g but still open to any ideas if anybody has any

I would just wait a couple days or so crickets only have there "wings" for about a week or so before they die. They usually only stay alive for about 6-7 weeks and get their wings at about 5-6 weeks old. Stick though it, they are probably in some small crevice in your house and you will probably not be able to lure them into any type of trap.

BTW: If they were to lay eggs it would only hatch if it is a humid and moist environment. They like soil so if you have any plants and the soil is always moist keep your eye out on that plant, if not then just wait it out. :p:D

Another option is to use the Raid Earthblends powder for crawling insects. I used it for ants, but it worked for crickets too.
