Crickets in bulk

Hello everyone. I posted a thread about crickets not long ago about getting them cheaper. Now I'm thinking of getting them in bulk so my question to you is... How would I take care of them and which ones should I get? Banded? House? What website should I get them off of?

I get mine from eBay, 500 brown crickets for $15 to $16, throw them in a 10 gallon fish and top it with a screen.
I toss in veggies and fruits, and there's a little water tray with a sponge. They are good to the last drop!

They all seem to be brown. One box said acheta domestica on the outside from buyfeedercrickets, and were very well packed with plenty of egg carton stacked up neatly.

Besides being two different species.... the banded are hardier and slightly smaller as adults ... but I have had some like 3 1/2 months... and there easy to breed and start your own colony
Ah, thank you. I've heard of both but never really knew the difference in species. Nice to know the banded are easier to raise. (y)

Lol @WAMBO you did post the same link. I've been buying from them for months. I have no complaints. Very little die off and I swear they live a loooong time. I can take terrible care of them and they live on and on. Sometimes I forget to give them their bug burger.

Actually I do have one complaint, they never leave me buyer feedback on my eBay and I always give them positive seller feedback.
