Crickets with super long antennas!

I ordered crickets from a sponsor... now, what I am wondering is, the antenna are SUPER LONG on them. The antenna are about 1.5 or 2 inches long on each cricket... I never had seen crickets like this. Is this ok for my (approx) 4 month old panther? They are 3/8 size although I have seen him eat larger (nearest pet store sells them and they are a bit bigger than I would like) so that is why I ordered online for my last batch.

I don't really know if that's okay, but if your worried, the antennas come of super easy. You can just grab an antenna and it will pop right of.

If you got them from Mulberry Farms, chances are you got banded crickets. Along with their long antennas, their good long jumper to.

YES! The link above is what they are!

I made a large cricket feeder for Mathesar- I used a 1 gallon jug and put in a large screen so they can walk all over (they all go to the top though in one spot)... about 3 has jumped out so far but the gallon jug does nice. :)

Banded crickets? I've never heard of them, are they similar to the House Cricket as far as temperament is concerned?

Sorry to hijack, just struck my interest :) How did your cham like chowing down on them?
