Crickets!!!

I went to Petco the other day to get some crickets like usual. The girl didnt feel like counting and gave me way more than my cricket cage could handle so i found a nice tote and put them in there with food and all that good stuff. Only problem with the tote was it had no top, so i made a top out of cardboard and then threw a towel over in and put it in the spare room. Today while i was at work my brother calls and says the cat got in the room and knocked the tote over:mad: so now there's crickets in the spare room. I set off a fogger but it said it kills ants and roaches so hopefully it kills crickets too:rolleyes:

Make sure NO fumes even seep out of that room...a fogger can kill you cham...Heck, when I was a child my parents bombed the house for fleas when I was at school and forgot to take my chinchilla out...DOA when I got home from school :(

I feel your pain. My brother knocked over a container with about 200 in it in my bedroom. Took an hour to find most of them, including removing all my furniture. Then he went and knocked it over again putting the last few in.

Crickets are kept in his room now, cause I won't deal with them anymore.

crickets will not invest a house like roaches and ants. Unless, if you have cricket food and water available readily all over the place.
They will probably stay alive for awhile.. Bother the whole house with their chirping, then they either die or escape outside.
Not a big fan of fogger.
When foggers are set, Roaches and ants will escape by getting deeper into the core of your house (behind walls, inside of the cracked floor, holes in the vent etc).
You only force them to migrate deeper into unreachable area.

I would take a vacuum in the room, move the furniture around and sweep up the crickets. You will find most of them and the other ones will die soon.

Oh, yes, Alf (he always grossed me out). For some reason I thought you were referring to ALF (as in Animal Liberation Front).
