Croaking??

So I put Drax in my bathroom and ran a steamy shower. I didn't put him in the shower, he was just on my hand and I sat in a chair in the bathroom while the shower was running. And I could feel like a vibration of him croaking or something? What was he doing?

Humming is something that chams can do. I'm not sure if anyone is 100% sure what it means - maybe that he was feeling nervous. It's perfectly normal, but it could mean that something is bothering him.

Chameleons humm? Thats news to me... A handful of chameleons will vibrate/buzz as another way to say back off and express the displeasure that they are feeling. This is always highly amusing when it is done by pygmy chameleons.

yeah, my veiled does it all the time! it sounds like a little snort to me and you can feel the vibration through his body. also, he kind of does a slight head snapping too. i was concerned for a while and thought it was a little seizure or something. i looked all over online and could find nothing on this.

My girl does that sometimes only she shakes her whole body. The first time I seen it freaked me out like you said seizure, or convulsions or something like that, Lol
