Cuddles the Waterdragon gone...

You might tie a rope to something and throw the other end in your pool. Its very likely he will end up in there (if he hasnt left the yard) on a warm day and find it hard to get out again.

Now that is a masta plan idea. Except for the chlorine n shit.. bacteria. pools are danger danger for animals.
 
I have shallow stairs-so he would be OK if found in the pool.

So you saw the backyard-ready for the front? Anyone want to come help me look?? :):):)

buy a mouse....throw in pool...if he is in the yard then he just wouldnt be able to resist!
 
Try branches overhanging or near the pool if any, prefrerably any that could used to bask. Waterdragons tend to bask on sunny branches overhanging water, so they can dive in if they spot a predator.
