This is daisy my 6 month old female cham, she is quite dark blue/green when i take photo's because my camera makes a noise when it snaps the image so its a little difficult plus she is quite little :) if anyone has one like this or could tell me if they think its a defect or an injury it would be great, thanks

the pic is too blurry to really see. can you try to get a clearer pic.

and what is actually missing.. there should be 5 toes on all 4 feet.

front- 2 outside, 3 inside.
back- 3 outside, 2 inside.

i haven't had her since a baby and her old owners wont get in touch!

Either a deformity from birth, or an old injury.

Is she bleeding?

Signs of issues with using that foot?

Can she grip things?

well sounds like shes 'special' lol.

if shes not bleeding, and she can use the foot, then its nothing to be worried about.

old injury/birth defect. it happens.

no blood at all and you cant see a scar, she wobbles alot on it when reaching out to grab things! and she wont grab her vines with it!

ohh daisy is definitely 'special' i just didnt know if it would effect her when she gets bigger heavier! as usual im just stressing over nothing

teheh its ok. we all do that with the cham babies. doesnt get any easier the longer you have them.

I would say get vines and such smaller so she can wrap her foot all the way around it. so she can climb easier, and dont angle things straight up an down, zigzag across the cage so she can climb up, without having a steep incline. Make sense?

yeah i have its just when she is stretching to others she lets both front legs go and just hopes she makes it and she normally does but im going to move everything a little closer together!

Sounds like a good plan. just make it so she doesnt have to stretch, and she should be ok.

it really is probably just a birth defect.

Can you post a picture of her whole body? That picture makes it look like her leg is bent more than straight below the knee. I worry about MBD...

it isnt i had her to the vets its just her skin and muscle in the pic
