Darker than normal

Hello, My veiled Chameleon is a bit darker than usual the past few weeks. I've been taking care of her the same way since I got her the only difference is she lost her tongue a few weeks ago. I don't know what's going on. Please help

yes sadly it was hanging out of her mouth and it fell out.

Did you take her to a vet? More than likely there is an infection and inside the mouth is a terrible place for an infection to be.

You really need to get her to a vet quickly. She can live without a tongue, it's not optimal, but it can be done.

Yes I took her to the vet they said the mouth didn't have an infection

She could be gravid. Could you post a picture of her?

She could be more stressed not having a tongue to catch food with.

Sure but I also have a 10" diameter pot at the bottom of the cage for that. Is that good enough?
