Daytona Reptile Show Pictures

Jann, who are the people in the group shot? I can identify the reptile species! I know thats you and your lovely daughter. Who are the other ladies and is that Roy from The Office? I love that Green Tree Python. Do you know who the owner is? Sorry for all the questions,I am bored!

That would be Laurie, her sister Lee, and Jared.

In the first set of pictures the little girl with the croc is Bridget.....Heather's (bridgofaith) little girl. A couple more down that's me with the ponytail and Heather (bridgofaith) talking to Dr. Ivan Alfonso.

Then in the second set of pics left to right Laurie (laurie), Lizbeth (lbesok)my daughter, her boyfriend Jared (Nucci4701), me and then Lee, Laurie's sister. Lee's not on the forums because she doesn't use the computer.

Then the next pic after the group is Divy (Dr. Alfonso's wife) Dr. Alfonso and then Jim Nozaki from Amazing Blue Reptiles and Jim was also one of the speakers at the symposium Friday Night.

hey Jann,, great pics!!!!
is that laurie and her sister lee, from Montana? did they come down just for the show???

thanks for the pics!!!!!

Jannb, it'd be cool if there were captions for some of the photos so we know who everyone is. I see Chris A. and a few others... but what the people who don't know who anyone is?

I didn't have time to do captions but per Chucks request there's a list of all the people in the pictures in post #42.

You beat me to it.

Thanks for sharing the photos :)

A little eye candy for those of us who could not make it. Any word on when video or audio of the the symposium will be made available?

I believe Jann and Juli already said who everyone was in the photos.

I guess she did... at post #42... Quite te gap from where the pictures were posted. It just helps when the caption is near the photo so you have some idea of who people are and then you don't have to actually read the entire thread. Most of the posts aren't of interest to the general public looking at the photos since most comments are chit-chat. Nothing wrong with the chit-chat, just not something I feel like reading.

Thanks for sharing the pics Jannb, lovely as always. :)

It was quite a good show and I think the symposium went very well. It was good seeing a lot of friends from the forum and elsewhere at the show but I know I missed a lot of people as well.

also find it funny that Chris A's picture is of him holding a panther:p:D
You have to remember that Chris was working at the FL Chams booth and probably making a sale. ;)

Ironic, huh?

Yeah, I was showing off a nice male Ambilobe to some people. That was a nice looking animal, thats for sure, even if panthers aren't really my thing.

Gotta love having a cage of huge Ch. senegalensis labeled incorrectly as "Graceful Chameleons" next to a cage labeled "Fischer's Chameleons" containing a male K. vosseleri in with a bunch of K. multituberculata at a Captive Bred only show. Pretty obvious those were not CB.

Any word on when video or audio of the the symposium will be made available?

Emmanuel and a couple other people from Exo-Terra, as well as a couple of the other speakers at the symposium just left my house. They are visiting a couple other people here in Florida and will be headed back home later this week. They'll have to edit the footage and splice it with the slides so I don't know how long that will take but it will probably take a couple weeks if I had to guess.

Hope those of you who saw the talks enjoyed them and I hope the rest of you enjoy them when they are posted!

Chris

Im glad you noticed those animals Chris, I was very disapointed in those cham cages at that vendors table. There was a huge worm in the sides of one of those senegals and I saw one dying on the bottom of the cage.
