Daytona Travel Deals

There is still time people!! I am still finding some VERY good hotel deals out there for the weekend of the show (not at the Hilton). For example, the condo that I stay at is running a great rate of $89 for a 1-bedroom!! That's nearly 50% off :eek: (and cheaper than the show rate at the Hilton). Let me know if you need nelp finding something.
 
Looks like I will be in Daytona after all. Got a cheap (free) flight and a cheap (free) room, so I couldn't pass it up. I'll be working in and around the tortoise booths, as I have a few friends selling tortoises there, but I'll be around that weekend. Can't wait! Now I just need to figure out how to get food for free..... Anyone wanna take me on a date? I won't make out with you, but I'll be good company :)
 
If someone can pack me in a suit case and let me sleep on their floor, I'll help you out at a booth or shine your shoes. :rolleyes:

So basically, what you're saying is, my good company isn't worth buying me dinner? Ryan Jarosek buys me dinner all the time on the condition that I act interested in what he says. I'll do that for anybody if the dinner is good enough.

Obviously you should have! I went with Julie's great deal-was at the credit card entering screen, had people in and out of my office, finally ran out to my car to get my credit card, entered the numbers and hit enter-THEN-I got an error message that said I timed out. When I went back through picking the Hotel the price raised $20 A NIGHT! boooooooooo :mad:

So-I still don't have a room!

Yeah, Chris, that's kind of what I thought. LOL - I was thinking... What? A guy (married or not) who ONLY wants good conversation and nothing more?? That's a first!! :eek:;):D But here it was all just a ruse to get a free dinner. Psshh. :rolleyes:

Here I am trying to be innocent and everyone doubts me. I'm sure I'll end up on the rollaway bed this year, so unfortunately for Mike, I will not be able to spoon him. He'll either be fishing, watching sports or sleeping anyways.
 
Juli: The Plaza Ocean Club still has rooms for 84 bucks (a couple doors north from the last one) on Expedia. Do it now!!!

Tyler, you know I'm just kidding you and you know that I always welcome a good conversation. :) But I was hoping I would be getting that free dinner from Chris. You know, since I am bringing him a couple hoes and all. :D
 
OK-I continue to have issues. I booked it, got an error message, but did get an itinerary #. Called Expedia-they have the itinerary, but say the room is not booked...now I am on hold to speak to a rep since I do not want my card charged twice....


AUGHHHHHH!

But thanks Julie for being my super helper in this matter!

WOW....I went to Six Flags with my daughter last weekend and I certainly didn't get that kind of roller coaster ride!! :D:D

Glad you are FINALLY booked. :)
 
I was talking to my Vet today and told her about Daytona and she said she has a client that is somehow involved with the show that gives her wristbands every year. She cannot go this year so SCORE FOR ME! Free show entry! :)
