So my chameleon just died and idk what I did wrong he was fine this afternoon and I have been misting him and feeding him and he had good lighting but a couple days ago I put a warm Vicks humidifier by his cage and I seen some things where it said it was okay to have that but I think that it burned him because he was really crisp looking and dry when I took him out

Sorry for your loss. Cool mist is typically preferred, but next time consider a Mistking or Climist starter system. Did you check the caresheets too? These misting system may make a difference in the health of your cham, and be easier on your personal lifestyle since they are automatic.
