Dewey is 10 Months Old

My big sweet and very handsome boy just turned ten months old. It's amazing how much he has grown. He was 2 months old and weighed 8 grams when he came to live with me and he's now 180 grams. Dewey is my gentle giant and I love him very much.

Hopefully he gets some green/blue specs in his cheeks and lower half, like tree moss.

Such an under-appreciated species! He's really beautiful. In those closeup pictures, it almost looks like there's bright red magma in between his scales

Jann, superb photos! And what an interestingly colorful species. Really great composition on the first photo. - a definite photo contest winner! Agreed about hopefully getting some blue-green, but just subtly beautiful as is.

Thank you Scott! Yes, Dewey is an oustaleti. I was wrong on his age if Brad or Michael wants to change it for me. Dewey just turned 8 months old.
