Deworming: opening mouth tips?

Any tips to get a shy stubborn chameleon to open his mouth for dewormer?

So last I brought home a 1 year old veiled chameleon male...the breeder showed me how to do his dewormer, he gets 3 doses. She did his first dose which he wasn't super happy about, he didnt hold very still but she got it in. I dont want to stress him out seeing as he is still very new to me and my house and all that. But i tried to get in his second dose and couldn't get him to open up. She said normally he will hiss and you can just squirt it right in, but he wouldn't even open his mouth a crack... any advice!?!?!? How do I get him to open up!?!?

You use a credit card and gently pry the mouth open. I personally just hold my phone up or camera up to them if I need them to open their mouth. They will gape, because they don't like it and I squirt the medicine in!

Oh my goodness thank you he needs it again in 2 weeks and im DEFS doing this!!!
