Hello my cham. is 4 months age man veiled. and he is eating everyday 10 crickets. Is it good to not give food one day in a week ? like diet.

When they are growing, it is best to feed them everyday and then taper off to every other day when they get to be about a year old or so. If you have a female, then some people start cutting back on their food earlier than that to try and prevent them from producing eggs. Also, right now he should be eating about double the amount of crickets. Are you dusting them with calcium? Now, if you miss a day of feeding here and there it is not going to hurt them.I just would not do it on a regular basis when they are so young

i see, so i will going to feed him everyday. for calcium, im dusting them 2 times in a week. its mean 20 crickets with calcium in a week. is it ok ?

:D Hello. 20 calcium dusted crickets in a day would be closer for young chameleons but that does depend on the size of the crickets. Also need to have them well gutloaded and may want to check into more of a variety of feeders.

Hi. i load crickets with carrot and apple. And size is not so little. He is 4 months and can he eat all size crickets ?

you need to dust with calcium every day and also a calcium with d3 twice a month and a multivitamin twice a month also. Gultoad better too with some dark leafy greens and other veggies and fruits besides what you are using. At 4 months he should be able to eat a medium sized cricket.
