Can anyone tell me the difference Between abanja ,ambilobe and nosy be chameleons I plan on getting a panther cham but not sure which to get?

The coloration, possibly some small characteristics (like the size of the nose) and the area of origin (they are named after the area of origin in Madagascar)...
Other than that care is the same, just get the one in the color you like best.

Just like blonde, brunette, black color hair....depends on what u like,as long u treat them well, they are all beautiful regardless.

It really has to so with color. Start looking through some pictures of the breeders on some of the site sponsors websites. I have an ambanja now but I have also had Ambilobe. Ambilobes will have blue bars, red, bars, yellow bars and they can have any number of colors along with them. Very rainbow like. My ambanja is a really pretty blue and mint green with red dots and a lot of white, his daddy was really red and blue. My understanding is that Nosy Bes are beautiful blues. But each panther cham no matter the local can very from the "norm". Most will follow what their Sire and GrandSire on the Dam side look like. Mine is an oddity as he looks nothing like his Sire so far.

It depends. If you want no extra colors you probably want a color variation of a nosey be and most call the purely blue ones true blues. But there are huge shade differences available in the nosey blue range so you should honestly check out the sire of the baby. I generally am the type of person who honestly prefer hybridized locales over purelines, more due to the fact that being able to tell pretty much exactly or close to, what my male will look like when he grows just by looking at his father... I find that boring. I started out with a panther hybrid, I know all the lines and the percentages of them that went into him, I liked the unknown and always wondering what he'd look like as older.

This is my 5 month old nosey be panther chameleon. I would say go for them . Later he will be all bright blue.
