Difficult cham

My chameleon doesn't seem to use her laying bin in her cage, so I'm going to pick up a large bin to stick her in today. I'm going to mix the playsand with the topsoil. Should I put the lights on her and feed her as well? I know some people don't bother, because they're getting ready to lay eggs.

She is going up and down the cage and searching at the bottom. Her sides also look like she is carrying eggs and I do not want to become eggbound.

They sometimes do that for days before they lay. I like a laying bin that is the whole bottom of the cage so when they go to the ground, they are in the place I want them to lay. How long has she been doing this? Can you post some pictures of her and your set up?

She has been doing this for about a week now, I just got her about a month ago from a lady and she is 7 months old.

Use the garbage can method. Put sticks in the soil and did some starter holes about six inches deep and on a 45 degree angle. Go to the health section and ask for help. Fill in the form, "How to ask for help" that is at the top, maybe fourth or fifth thread down. Include pictures. Put something about egg binding in the title so people will read it. Difficult cham does not describe what you are dealing with at all and a lot of people might just not read it.

Also, go to the breeding section and read the thread about laying bins. I think there is a video on it.

Good luck.

Thank you so much, I appreciate the help.
