Current Problem - The cham has a spot on its right side that is discolored. It is mainly visible if he turns dark. It was only notice when he was brought home and introduced in his enclosure. It has not worsen but is also not any better. I believe it may be a burn mark, thoughts?

Both are from today

Welcome to the forums. That could be a burn or possibly a fungus. Young veileds need a basking spot in the low 80's....82 or 83 because they can not digest their food properly if they are not warm enough. What are you using to check the temps? Young Chameleons that are kept inside need calcium without d3 at most feedings and multi vitamins every 2 to 3 weeks and calcium with d3 every 2 to 3 weeks. Do you have a chameleon vet?

Thank you for the welcome and help.
The temp is a Zoo Med digital thermometer, I can easily increase the temp
The Herptivite has D3, so it was my understanding I would not need to use a Calcium with D3. Yes I do have a vet if I need to take him in.

So a brief update, the little guy shed two weeks ago, and after the shed the patch on the side has gotten smaller. The two other spots on the back neck and near the tail are gone. So I believe it was a burn and is healing. Also I am not happy with his enclosure so I just ordered a Medium Atrium from Dragon Strand and also a quad fixture to go with it. Anxious to get them in and set up. I would have gone with the large but I just don't have the room.
