thinking of building my own cage for my cham, and i wondered what type of sheet wood do people use. Just curios as alot of wood bows when in contact with water!! cheers
I used red oak for mine, but you could use poplar or pine for the frame. For the bottom I used a birch panel. It should not warp because it has been stained and sealed with polyurethane.
Start your own thread or find a more recent one. I'm using Pentair Epoxy PaintIs there a certain type of polyurethane & sealer to use for chams? I am looking in to building my own and want to be sure what I use is safe.

Thanks!Look for low VOC sealers. The others will emit fumes even after dry.
