DIY.com Cages?

i didn't think they made a dual flourescent hood for an 18 inch cage...only for a 24 inch cage.
 
I know they make a smaller size with dual fluor. I dont know if they are 18" or 20" though. I have them on my female cages I switched all my cages over to diy fixtures last yr. Im pretty sure they are 18" too, because they fit perfectly on the cages and dont hang over the sides.
 
Good cages. On a 2x2x4 they don't have that fixed top section but do have a fixed bottom section so you don't have the tilt and clean feature. Also if you use the LLL water trays like I do the 2x2x4 is a little too large for the tray. That said I love them :p

what!?!?:eek::eek::eek: i called them to ask about it the other day and they said they only make the dual flourescent in a 24 inch. not good.

I have two of the 24" and they are the best 24" out, but....you all know we cant stop at one cham and 48" ones are so much cheaper and cover more cages so I have switched over to those from Lowe's;)

What? i'll take pics tonight & measure em for ya. Im almost 100% they are 18" though. Thats why i went with their fixtures they were the only one I could find in that size with dual fl option & a reflector built in that werent over a 100 bux ea.

I just checked their website and it only shows it in 24. :(
 
I have the 24x24x48 and I cant find defect. The hinges are of good quality and the screen is not cheap either. I wouldnt think twice about buying another cage.

Your right. They're out of stock right now. I guess the guy I talked to last month didn't know what he was talking about.

sorry to bring an old thread up, but where did you get the 48" fixture? i didnt see that option on DIYcages website:)

i bought some for my future hatchlings from home depot. they were a little over $20.00. they only sell up to 24 inch ones.
