Here is a link to how we hydrate our chameleons. It is a diy rain dome we have been using since the beginning. No high pressure water in the enclosure or holes in the screen. It sets right on top and a light mist and rain drops.

Domes are the way to go, in my experience all the Chams I have owned hate pressurized mist.

I’m going to build and test your design, I like the idea of it being round and compact, we all now how cluttered top of cages get 😬

Awesome. Please do. Tag me when you get it up and running you will be amazed at the coverage even if you opt to use a 2 in. pipe or 4 in. Pipe. I use 4in. On all my adults and 2 in on all my babies and juveniles. You can use your standard MistKing nozzle as well. But I do recommend taking the middle bend section out so the mist head can sit higher in the pipe.

And yes it can save a lot of space on top of your enclosure. If really tight up there just use a 2 in. Pipe. But the 4in. Does cover a bigger area.
