do black crickets kill brown ones??

I was at the pet shop the other day, and they only had 3 tubs of brown crickets and the rest black so i took the 3 tubs of browns and got one tub of black...i had never bought these beforeand im now noticing lots of dead crickets around my enclosuresand its always the brown ones, could the black ones be killing the brown ones??

Yes they could be. Black crickets are more aggressive than brown. Stick to one or the other

Yes, as noted, the black ones are very aggressive. In addition, I found they were bottom dwellers while the brown crickets almost instantly climb to the top of the cage. As the chameleon is closer to the top of the cage it only makes sense to get the feeders who hang out in his range.

yeah the black ones are bigger and tend to be carnivores
