Do chameleons get lonely?

Have been considering getting a lady friend for Marty as a little bit of company. I'm not looking to intentionally breed chams but if it happened it would probably be quite easy to sell the babies as ain't too many breeders around our areas.
How are chams with sharing the same space?
As he lets me know about it every time my hands go near him is he likely to act the same to a female?
Also do I have to worry about him trying it on with her to much and stressing her out?

Was thinking I'd be nice for him to have a friend, that's all?

No, they are solitary creatures. Do not breed them please unless you know everything there is to know about them. They will not, I promise you, sell quickly, they cost more than the amount you'd get trying to sell them, not to mention the stress on the female.

I'll second that fully. Successful breeding is quite a challenge for all reptiles in general. Not only stressful on the female, but clutches can turn out very inferior or crippled if you don't feed the female properly in the first place. Unless you really study and follow husbandry rules carefully, you might end up with very angry customers who write bad review about you. And you certainly don't want that to happen.

Ok I'll scrap that idea then. My intentions aren't to breed them, was just wondering if chams are happier in pair rather then on their own.
